December 28, 2025 I Wish You Hope For The New Year

An email I sent out to my special people this year. I thought I would also share it with you. 

Hello,  

May you have New Year full of hope.   

This year I am hoping to do more video work, if possible, through my website dswh33360Journey.com, shooting video and editing video. We have made a few changes on the website hoping to make it more interactive as the year progresses. One of my previous bosses did a wonderful job updating my new resume for video related work.  I will share it with you here. I am thankful that I do have a regular job currently and a means to look creatively for video work outside of that job for additional income. I am planning to continue my college class but first thinking about ways to make my week more balanced. Taking the math classes was leaving me a bit “burnt out” since I am a creative soul. I am investigating how I may make the hard work of taking a college class and the rest of my week a bit more rejuvenating to my spirit throughout the week. I am in brainstorming mode.   

Today I will spend the morning editing and putting on my website later in the day a little video we made of our trip to Snoqualmie and the Falls. They were some of the areas that were flooded recently and our trip there showed them as beautiful as ever. We drove to look at the little Snoqualmie train gazebo where we were married in 2014, and it was all decorated with lights on the trains and the little gazebo train park. We also drove through the town of North Bend and took video of where the Snoqualmie Casino is. We took a drive to the Snoqualmie Falls and went for a drink of Champagne at the Salish Lodge sitting above the falls.  

A second hope for the new year is that I would like to make improvements to my health. The heavens have been very kind to give me good health, but I would like to improve it with a good diet for my small frame and an exercise habit for 3 days a week. That would make me happy. I am contemplating and considering both items for my new year hopes as I call them.  

We are planning a trip at the end of this coming summer 2026 with the people who have contributed their video work to my website. It will be a way to celebrate the second anniversary of this work.  

These are a few hopes I have for the New Year. I wish you a profitable New Year and one that is full of hope.
