We slept this morning. We are a little disoriented from it. I’m enjoying the first cup of coffee. I need the energy. We’ve decided to go on the East side of the Cascades soon. It will be an early morning trip, and we will make it to a different lake on the way there and take a little video footage. Ooh thank God for morning coffee. 😂
I’ve been losing more weight, but it’s been like pulling teeth as the old saying goes. It’s been two days that I have been eating less points on WW again and I’m down 35 pounds. I have a small body frame, and I carry my weight well as some have told me. I have a long way to go; with good nutrition and aerobic exercise and weightlifting I plan to do it healthily and permanently. I have an addictive personality and that will never change. It will be lifelong management. It is my challenge where I am choosing to be a warrior and an athlete who wants to cross the finish line.
My Dad is such an inspiration in this way. He is 91 and he works out 3 days a week. He takes vitamins and eats nutritionally. He is a warrior in this life. He is also a veteran.
I am getting stronger in that I can lift repetitively 60 pounds in some weights and 70 pounds in others. I want to be able to lift and carry any kind of equipment needed. The next exercise I plan to add is the stair climber for an aerobic challenge. I go to the gym with my husband; I feel safe with him.
It’s never too late to start working out. The goal is to start where you are at no matter how humbly and gently and patiently go from there. It is worth every effort for your future.
I hope this finds you well. Thank you. 🙏
