December 25, 2025 The Relatable Heavens

I’m sharing a morning routine with you; my first cup of the day. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas, whichever holidays you celebrate. Santa came in the night in the form of a clean kitchen and stocking stuffers too big for a stocking by the fireplace for my husband and two bath balls, sparkling pink Moscato and a red candle for me, and professional massage sessions that I haven’t used yet. Granted I already knew what my presents were, that’s okay. My co-workers at work far exceeded my imagination by their holiday surprises. Needless to say, I will be sending out thank you cards.

We had flooding in our town South of Seattle and my Dad had flooding in his town North of Seattle. We are celebrating the holiday with family so it will be an interesting story in navigating between our homes as some roads are still flooded. We can be thankful this year as none of our family and friends experienced flooding personally or professionally. We were the lucky ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been displaced for the holidays.

This morning, I will do the process of a longer shower where I will wash my hair and thank the heavens that He provided a shelter where we could do such things. For to us a Child is born. Let us remember that we have found a heaven that can relate to us in our lowliest lows or our highest of highs. We are cared for and loved and if you can, we can spread this care to others and remember we have today to give love so today we can celebrate in that. Merry Christmas.
