11/12/25 A Letter I Wrote To A Friend

Hello,

How are you doing? I hope you have been doing well in every way and that you are blessed.

We've had quite a couple of weeks.  I grin through it because it is unbelievable, but I know that people who have been through similar situations have been blessed afterwards if they have had faith in the heavens.  Over 2 weeks ago my father-in-law passed away, I was then diagnosed with acute bronchitis, my husband came home with information that his company is trying to lay him off before his retirement, and his car was dying.  We were able to go to the doctor, go to New Mexico for the funeral services and take his car to the mechanic.  We will see what happens when my husband goes back to work on Monday.

So, you see we had these things happen, but we were blessed because we could take actions to address each thing that came up, and I turned my attention more to the heavens.  I love to read ancient writings and present day writings that have wisdom in them. The book of Job written a few thousand years ago describes 37 chapters of the person of Job and his suffering and his friend's philosophy of how come it happened. In Chapters 38-42, God talks about himself and nature and how the story is His to tell.  I read those chapters twice this past week.  It helps reframe my perspective.  I don’t know what story He is telling right now, I just know it is a story that is happening and it is for me to pay attention.

I may have to retake a college class I was taking that I had my whole heart into.  I explained my predicament to my instructor, and she seems to have been understanding.  Somewhere a person needs to be human, and these past 2 weeks I have been more “human” than normal.

I took quite a few good video shots during our visit to New Mexico so I will put them together in a video on my website dswh33360Journey.com after this coming weekend.  I just needed a little time to rest from addressing everything this past week. Again, I hope this finds you well.
