October 26, 2025 Is It the Coffee or Something In The Air

I’m not a spokesperson. I do things behind the scenes. The book that I am reading talks about activating something in you that will give you energy to pursue your dreams and be able to grow your business. I’m still in the self-discovery phase of this. Outside of my first dream of making music that I’ve had to leave behind in my 20s, my life has been a journey of self-discovery of what else could I do? What else am I good at? From there I went into television and radio and found out I had a good speaking voice, and I was good at taking camera shots, and I had an interest in that if not a passion. In my Journey I had to step away from that to take care of my family. I have made efforts this past year to go back into television, camera and video work, taking classes to update my skills and even receiving a certificate of video editing from a school in Boston. In my years of stepping away from the industry and making efforts to get back in, I learned about Marketing, e-commerce, working on websites, payroll, billing, logistics, customer service, basically running a business. I love working out of my home and working with creative people. I have not been able to get back into television, very specifically in two cities I was interested in. I’ve had interviews. I was embarrassed about this at first and just realized that maybe going into my own business is the solution. I have my website dswh33360Journey.com business. I am still in the self-discovery phase. I am also taking classes to finish my meteorology degree. That’s not optional for me. I’ve very much needed a mentor or coach in my life. This book has been eye-opening. Another concept is needing an income. I have a full-time job that is not in my field of interest, but it does pay for my interests. So, this is where I am right now. The rest of the day today we will run an errand, and I will study my math. I feel I am at a point of decision needing to think about what is next for me. I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
