February 4, 2026 Weather Feelings From 3000 Years Ago Still Good Today

The video is of a morning moon around 6:30am in Western Washington.  I took it on my iPhone before driving on my way to work on Tuesday morning.  The moon was more Northwest in the sky than usual, and it was beautiful to look at.  It followed me all the way to work, and I also took another photo when the sky lightened.

I melt my medical weight loss medication under my tongue per instruction of the medical professionals. You are not supposed to clean your palate in any way afterwards as I guess there is a reason for this. If it is slow absorption into the body, I am only guessing.  i will ask about it at my second meeting with them.

I read ancient writings of different kinds and whether you have a belief system in a greater power or not, I enjoy the poetry and songs of King David from roughly 3000 years ago. I am a late bloomer to the scientific side of the weather. Before then the weather to me was expressed in writings, art, photography, music and movies.  It was an expression of inner feelings.

David’s song Psalm 18 from 3000 years ago really speaks to me this morning and he expresses the feelings of weather and Earth happenings to let us know how he is feeling, like the following;

“The earth trembled and quaked,

and the foundations of the mountains shook;

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him—

the dark rain clouds of the sky.

Out of the brightness of his presence, clouds advanced,

with hailstones and bolts of lightning.

The Lord thundered from heaven;

the voice of the Most High resounded.[d]

He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy,

with great bolts of lightning he routed them.”

To me, before weather science entered my life, weather was expressed to show feelings and creativity, and I thought David captured those feelings here.

I normally composed myself on my iPhone before my day starts in my comfy orange chair but at times if I am not careful, I can lose everything I am writing. This was one of those days I did not want to lose what I am writing.

These are the feelings I have today.  I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
