We don’t have a moon in our neighborhood due to overcast skies. It would have been the blood moon this morning. I did capture our moon yesterday morning when our skies were clear.
I woke up with a sore throat this morning. I’ll order Covid tests to be delivered from the grocery store. I washed my hair and will wash our towels. I took lots of vitamins this morning. I’m drinking hot coffee and it feels good on my throat. We have a bug going around our office, but I don’t know what form it is. I’ve had all kinds of preventative shots hoping that would cover most issues, but somehow things get through anyway sometimes.
I have my math final in a few weeks. It has been a challenge, and I am living with being comfortable getting my brain scrambled with new math concepts. I have a symbolic electrician rewiring my creative brain with math. I wake up from dreams about working on math problems. I hope you see my humor.
Math is a very different culture from a creative mind. I got an AAS in computer science many years ago and that is a change to the creative brain, but math has its own culture. My Dad was an electrical engineer, and my mother was an artist. They both could sing. I initially pursued music but retired from that knowing that there were things I did not want to know in the industry.
My next pursuit was television. I was in Mississippi when this happened. I stumbled on a television job and decided I wanted to pursue a degree for it while working in television. I received that degree and work experience. I came back to Western Washington and worked for KIRO television in audio during evening news when family issues came up where I needed to step away.
Maybe one day I will find an evening or weekend part time behind the scenes role in television again. I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
