A beautiful sky in Western Washington yesterday while at work. I’ve been enjoying being lazy when I haven’t been working. I’m deciding in advance if I want to add 21 hours to my week for studying math on top of a 40-hour work week.
My supervisor is really wonderful. She is encouraging, one who gives courage. She suggested breaking up the study time into some before and after my work.
The study now is not something that can be distracted study; it needs to be immersive with no other distractions to be successful for me this time around. That will mean a 71-hour week away from my family. These are some things I am looking at.
My husband has a newfound retirement, and I also wanted to be there for him. He is thinking about a part time job to keep him busy, but he is not ready for that yet. Perhaps when he gets his part time job then I will take my class again.
We are planning our vacation. We just have the flight tickets and rental car to arrange. It will be our video immersed trip for this year. It’s the first year in a couple years where we are not traveling due to a ill relative. We’re praying that everyone keeps their health that we know; so important.
I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
