July 14, 2025 Hubby's Birthday Week

Today I am up a little earlier than usual. I’m covering a coworker friend’s early shift this morning. I will also need to allow time for my meditation and homework so I’m up a little earlier. I read a wonderful article on LinkedIn about how our daily habits can make up who we are and that really resonated with me as I am making efforts to change daily habits to create change in a positive direction: A little exercise, changes to eating habits, daily vitamins, to name a few. This is not on the list, but I’m enjoying a Monster Java this morning. Something to try if you haven’t before. I need the extra little energy boost this morning. We haven’t created videos the past two weekends, but it is my husband’s birthday this week, so the video subject matter this week will be a little lighter hearted and about that. I’ve been allowing for the upper paced math refresher class to kick in for the summer quarter. There is daily math to do to keep up with the summer pace. The example of daily good habits in action. My smile in my mornings is spending a little time with my early morning people on The Weather Channel. I don’t know why, but it is a moment of Zen for me in the very pandemonium days of the urgent activities of my Workday. I don’t know how it is for them but for me it brings early morning comfort. 😁Meditation or whatever it is for you I would recommend for everyone for whatever form it comes in for you. Having a quiet time where your heart, soul, mind and spirit can commune with the greater universe out there: God, spirit and nature is a wonderful place to find strength and inner peace.
