I had my first appointment with my medical team. I compared WW to MEDVi and found MEDVi to be less expensive overall. My current insurance does not cover medical weight loss, so it will be out of pocket. It is a program that I would not recommend to anyone as it is a serious medical decision and there are side effects to the medications. I have chosen it after much contemplative thought, and it is a personal decision and is not for the faint of heart. I will share my story for those who are curious, but this is not a recommendation. It is only a sharing of my story. I chose the tablets over the injections, for my first month to see if progress is made. I will visit with nutritionists as I progress. I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
