Our parakeets and I are working the early shift after the Seahawks win Super Bowl 2026.
This year has been life changing for us. My husband’s father passed away; his job came to an end prior to his retirement in May, and recently his close uncle fell and broke ribs and punctured his lungs. My husband will be going to see him this week while I work, and I hope to go on the weekend. For those that say prayers, we would appreciate them. We believe in the heavenly realms, and we hope to embrace the plan whatever it is from the heavens above.
We have asked everyone in our circles to pray for us. So much goodness and kindness have come to us. We always want to remember that in every way and to remember so much of life is beyond our control and our job is to embrace the heavenly realms and to get on and to ride the storms to where they take us and love those around us near and far. Life can be a wild storm to ride. We will rest when we can.
To bring this back to earth, I will work most days at home this week due to working the early shift, then at the end of the week I have an on campus midterm to do then I plan to join my husband at the end of the week in visiting his uncle. Thank you for the prayers and for whomever you call upon. I know you are heard and we thank you. 🙏
