June 26, 2026 The Blue Cascades or the Blue Waves

These blue mountains are what we see in a clearing on the 4-mile gravel road back and forth from Lost Lake in the Cascades in Washington state. We made it to Friday. I will edit our Lost Lake video soon for our website Dswh33360Journey.com and our YouTube Channel @dswh33360 My Journey.
We’re heading to the gym a little later this morning and I have a short introduction interview at 9 this morning after I wash my hair. I’ve been kept very busy with job hunting, required meetings and interviewing. We will have a few days in Western Washington with the rain that we need. With other available time I’ve been looking into my options for education, my video editing, and our video outings to bodies of water in our area.
My husband is trying to get me on a small charter boat out on the Pacific Coast to go fishing with him. I’ve been on a cruise ship off of the Florida coastline for a few days, but the seas were calm, and the ship was huge and had a chance. The Pacific Coast is a wild ride in a small charter boat with nowhere to escape if you get caught in a storm but to white knuckle it. I have great fear and great love of the Pacific Ocean and with the respect you could give to a god. It can take your life, or it can spare your life on a whim.
Maybe one day I would go on a small boat, but it would be if my passion far outweighed my love of my life on this earth. As it is, I will go on a small charter boat, out in our Sound in Western Washington or out on the Strait up North to fish at the drop of a hat. I know I have a chance to swim to land. Most likely the waves won’t succumb my life vest, and I have, and I did very well catching a sea cucumber and greenling fish. We have it on video.
As it is when my husband goes out on the Pacific Ocean to fish, I say a little prayer for them that the waves are calm and that they will catch lots of fish. This year I will probably pay for his fishing trip and get a hotel room and wait for him on land while he fishes in the high seas and takes videos for me.
