“I do believe. Help me overcome my unbelief.” An ancient quote originally from another language. Are we hoping to do new things that we’re qualified for but some circumstance we can’t believe would make it come true for various reasons or maybe just one reason? There is a point where the pursuit takes on a different story. I was down in Mississippi years ago finishing up my Radio, TV, Film degree working in the industry and looking for a living wage job in the south in radio and television. The wage I was making was fine for a student in school, but I didn’t find a living wage job there in the South and needed to return to Washington state to earn a living wage in my industry. I can’t really say what I’ve been doing for the last year and a half in some things, but I can say that I’ve been on a fun ride of doing camera work, coaching a few outside the industry to also do camera work with cameras in their possession and starting a website and YouTube channel. I try to touch base with a few places in the South again with efforts that I may or may not be qualified for and that has also been interesting. In my mind I have everything I need to pursue any adventure but there are circumstances that I have no control of. So, depending on the outcome, I’ve made a valiant effort in the South again. Somewhere in there my story needs to be my own. Where do I go from here? I have my education that I’m pursuing in meteorology for behind-the-scenes work, just because, I have my camera work and my wonderful cameras and my editing work and everything I’ve learned this past year and a half with the new technologies out there. I’m at a turning point. I have my meditation time where I will be guided where I need to be. I don’t know what my story is right now, but I have enjoyed the ride to get here. Thank you.
