October 8, 2026 A Whirlwind Or Lightning
Join me for a morning ritual. Please join me in my first cup of coffee for the morning. I couldn’t sleep in today. Those in the path of the hurricane please choose survival. Please be safe. I lived in Hattiesburg and Biloxi, MS for a few years going to school and started my career in television behind the scenes there.
Creation is such a powerful thing. It’s based on a lightning energy beyond ourselves. It’s based on being plugged into an ethereal and eternal power source. At times it can seem wildly crazy like a whirlwind, but it comes to a logical and balanced resting place when it lands.
My creation experiences started with my mother’s encouragement. She gave me room to reach out, grasp paints of many colors, create clay articles, sing, play instruments, and dance. My father and mother both had beautiful voices though they didn’t often sing in front of others. I could hear them sing in church and they had a love of musicals. They raised us on records of beautiful, dramatic music of the classical stars. On my own I wrote music; also recorded music as a singer; on radio I was a disc jockey and announcer; and then moved to being behind the scenes on camera in television. I never felt like I couldn’t try something new.
Life happens, for many who have been creative and those who survive find ways to make a living wherever the spirit takes them. I’ve learned many skills in my life, and they all came out of nurturing my creativity and nurturing my family and caring for them. At times I’ve needed to make sacrifices but, in the end, it made me a more well-rounded businesswoman.
There are things I would like to continue pursuing; a part time career in television behind the scenes; studies in meteorology; studies in business finances and investing; travel; my medical weight-loss management and weightlifting and exercise; my video websites, YouTube, and social media; and my longing to work closely with those I’ve considered as my mentors, either symbolically, spiritually, mentally, or physically.
There’s so much I would like to reach out towards, and most of it requires creativity. I will plug into the source I have and hope the creative energy of the good lightning bolts will strike.
