March 12, 2026 The Moon Is Peeking

The moon was peeking out the Southwestern sky the other morning on the way to work. It was before the big winds and blizzards in the Cascade Mountains in Washington. It has made us glad we had previously made it to the other side of the mountains to visit family and at another time up North to visit family recently.

This is Thursday reset day; the day I get to work from home for two days and save a little time in the commute. I completed my last quiz for this quarter after midnight and will be studying for the final test in two weeks.

We are researching drones on YouTube. We will be making a purchase soon and my husband will specialize in that skill, and I will learn what I can from his research. The purpose is for aerial videography.

I am contemplating how I can bring our services to the public better and will research this a bit more and will share this in future posts.

We have made our fourth trip to the gym as a couple somehow waking each other up in time for a 4am gentle work out. I am walking on the treadmill and lifting a few weights. I’m already feeling the subtle benefits. Now to work on logging foods on the WW app. Sharing a Casadia with my husband; basically, a flour tortilla with 2 ounces of cheese and two protein mochas and seeing a full days' worth of WW points gone in that meal let’s one know there needs to be changes. It is curious how hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruits are zero points.

I’m working the early shift this morning. The heavens have so far heard my prayers for keeping our power on. It depends on what direction the winds blow where we are. My Dad’s home has a generator, so he is safe and warm. We have a fireplace and credit cards to stay somewhere if we need to and at least a gym where we could go to shower and get ready for the day.

I have some self-reflection to do. I need to make more changes, and it takes courage to do so. Many times, the heavens speak in a whisper, and it may take one to quiet their heart enough to hear what is being said or something might be missed. It is time for my quiet time. I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
