June 18 And That is Really All I Need to Know...

Like that old song I Don't Know Much by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville, sometimes we don’t need to know much. Today I have off from work so that I can visit my campus for the first time where I have been taking online math refresher courses. We have to take our finals on campus and per the instructors' instructions I need to see if I have an online connection on campus prior to the final. I don’t know anything about this campus so it will be for the first time, and it is in the heart of the city of Seattle. Something I have been avoiding since I have lived outside the city for several years. I’ll have my cash and credit cards in hand for parking and my google maps ready to go. Sometimes we don’t need to know everything. Sometimes we just need to know our love and truth whatever that is. For me it is to cling to that as my foundation where I have an anchor to adventure from. These past few weeks have been adventuring into the unknown and sometimes that means letting go of something and reaching out to something new. I was looking face to face in the mirror recently that I’m doing nothing new under the sun as an ancient proverb has said. It makes one reach more deeply into the unknown wondering what is the point of it all and realizing that love and creativity is all that really matters out there. And if you have a higher power, a higher calling, or otherworldly power out there to reach out to, that divine influence helps also. Make sure to tell those you love that you love them. Find your foundation and anchor and embrace your life and love those around you. That is all we really need to know. Thank you.
