Happy 4th of July and Happy 250 years!
I love the moon in the morning. It is very special when we get to see it in Western Washington. I’ve been quiet for the past 2 days and have been very busy. I have a new book I am reading from Coach Micheal Burt. It is called, “Screw Your Why”. It is intellectual with references from many people. I will need to read it again.
My story is taking some interesting turns. I may be going to school close to full time for the summer while still looking for work. There is a Workforce program for worker retraining that I may participate in if I qualify. This quarter I am taking Calculus and English.
I will not end looking for work, but I will focus my time on learning. I still have a day where a company could offer me a job before school starts, but if not, I have almost full-time online school waiting for me. I’ve had several first and second interviews, but the message from heaven that I’m receiving is that it may be a time to work on self for a bit.
This very much falls in line with regaining classes to pursue my meteorology degree, either for personal fulfillment or professional; as I do not know my future, but out of personal challenge right now. It will make me a better person. Since I have a degree already from years ago, I am not eligible to earn another two-year degree, but I am eligible for transfer to MSU since I was already accepted there previously.
I am still working on medical weight loss. Some could think that it is the easy way out, but it really isn’t. It takes discipline to continue to change habits. It’s not a wonder medicine, but it indeed helps. My food has changed and I’ve added exercise with my husband 3 days a week. There is also a mind storm as well with anything that requires thoughtful change. It is not temporary changes but permanent.
I’m also rethinking my video business. It is something I love to do, but the initial purpose for it was to gain experience as a videographer and camera person which I have done. I am looking for interviews with people I am interested in also to create a kind of magazine for my website Dswh33360Journey.com. I am teaching myself work with zoom to see if that would be a good format to do video interviews.
My why for how come I do this? I seem to enjoy it. I retired from singing (my first love), when I was 29, out of survival and then recreated my life with a television job and working on my degree in radio, television and film.
I seem to be doing something like that again. I will need to see where this journey takes me.
I hope this finds you well. Thank you. 🙏
