This video short is from a year ago up on Snoqualmie Pass Western Washington State I-90. The curious man is my husband and makes for a good subject in my video. It is right before I received my certificate of video editing from AGI out of Boston. The purpose; to update my skills from my BA degree in radio, television and film. This little clip was in my one-minute reel that can also be found on my website Dswh33360Journey.com.
I started my class on Monday in calculus. I’m sitting in my comfy orange chair in my office with my feet up in the dim light, surrounded by my comfy blanket and a cup of mocha with mini marshmallows.
I started the morning with an email from the medical side of WW letting me know that they were processing my information for medical weight loss. I’ve contemplated this for a long while always wanting the most natural way possible but knowing I will need help as “trying” is something that I am accustomed to. This year I want to see measurable success, and I will share what I experience with those who have not tried it.
I spent the rest of the beginning of my morning paying bills. I’ve been neglecting my quiet time when I read ancient writings and ponder. Not something to skip for too long if you are one who needs to ground yourself on a strong foundation like I do.
I’ve felt rushed in my mornings in the past 2 days and there will always be things calling. It is just important to grasp the things most important if possible; things effecting the heart, spirit, mind and strength; a place to live and care physically for yourself where you can inspire relationship, spiritual awareness, intellectual stimulation and movement or exercise and a means to earn a living. Needs that can seem pretty basic for some, but for me pursuing an education while working full time is challenging. One class is approximately 24 hours a week of studying for the quarter system that we have in Western Washington state.
This morning, I work the early shift for my supervisor. My day started early. I study before work, have a quiet time if I am not too exhausted where I fall asleep, then get ready for work. One of the inspirational books I am reading is by Coach Micheal Burt; truly encouraging and motivating. I hope your mind helps you refresh and focus this morning. Thank you.
