February 7, 2026 Here's To Butterflies

We have winter sunshine in Western Washington. This week has been about transition and survival in how it felt. My husband was released from his job prior to his retirement. Transition was this week. We became a team like an ameba clinging closer as we roll into it. With any change, a person really needs to allow them to transition into the mourning process also.

Not allowing the feelings of loss to come into your heart when it is ready to will not allow you to prepare for transition and get through it; with fasting or being quiet before the heavens to allow that transition to take place helps you to get through it on the other side.

his was the pruning that I had mentioned we were going through earlier in the week. A tree or plant endures the pain of pruning, but it makes a better and stronger and more fruitful tree and plant later.

Other parts of your life also adjust to make room for the new transformation and change. I needed time this week to just stare after the changes. For the person directly affected, there may be times where thoughts are not clear. A kind of shock comes over a person that results in mental and physical symptoms.

We are creating plans. I will now have grass roots marketing for my company that I was hoping for. It was just a matter of needing time to do so, and now I have someone available to do it. I would also like him to learn about my more complex camera. The first camera I gave him was the go pro to get to know initially. He has an artist's eye; in a previous life he was going into architecture. So, we are seeking the benefits of this new life.

I guess what I am saying is for every change there are different levels of death, burial and resurrection to enter into in this life and each one needs to be allowed to be experienced fully. Without that, we wouldn’t have butterflies: Here’s to beautiful butterflies. Thank you.
