The moon is something we do not see this time of year often in Western Washington, so I’m revisiting the moon from early October this year; just from a desire to see it. This time of year, we think of the guiding star that led shepherds and the wisemen to that fateful animal shelter where the baby lay. From humble beginnings it is good to know a baby meets us where we are and even beneath where some of us are accustomed to being.
It is good to contemplate this during a time of the stresses of family gatherings, presents, and an abundance of food to remember why we do this. I hope this finds you well on Christmas Eve and that you will be blessed during the holiday. Thank you.
