End of year reflections; I have been thankful to have a regular job that I can do daily; a warm home that has seemed to deflect the storms; a friendship with my husband that keeps me company; a support system with family, friends and previous bosses and instructors; the ability to take a college class per quarter to stretch my mind; to have my health, even though I need to lose some weight and get healthier; a little free time to dream and plan for my present and future; and a spiritual relationship with the heavens.
A year ago, January, I started my website dswh33360Journey.com and it has been a journey of love ever since; not knowing what direction it would take, we pieced it together week by week. As it evolved, we decided to make it an LLC and to start making it an ecommerce site. For customers, we advertised editing videos and are now approaching video production work also. This is just the beginning.
Our website is of videos out in nature, fishing at different locations around Washington state both East and West of the Cascade Mountains, a trip to New Mexico and outings we’ve managed to make on our days away from our full-time jobs. Nature has been our reset from daily stresses and helps remind us of what really matters. We also have two other contributors to our website with some visits to The Washington State fairground, a tour of the Seattle Flight Museum and a visit to an Oregon airshow to name a few. We are also found on social media; on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads and Facebook.
Looking toward the future; I need to think about this. I seem to have a stirring in my heart to continue working towards my meteorology degree one class at a time while I work full time; I would like to make a living earning on my website; and I would like to have one trip for the team of people who have contributed their video skills to the website sometime in 2026. I am praying for other insights we would like to accomplish, but this will get us started. I hope this finds you well. Thank you.
